Is it Spring Break yet?
This week has been crazy at work. So many reports to finish before Spring Break and I’m so burnt. I’m looking forward to a week of sitting, relaxing, and maybe some more skiing.
back to work…*sigh*
That had to be the shortest Christmas break ever. It was nice though…I just wish it could have been a little longer. Unfortunately, I had to go back to work and boy was it hard! I’m just happy that Jes is home for another week.
On another note…Southern Asia is still suffering and watching the news has been really depressing. There are so many organizations collecting money right now. Here’s a list of some: Red Cross, Mercy Corps, and Unicef. If you can help out, donate what you can…there are some really sad children out there with no more family left and sick people who need medicine and water.
Here’s a neat story about a doggie that rescued his 7-year-old friend: good doggie.
One More Day!!
Gosh, I’m burnt out. I’m in dire need of a break and it’s only one day away!! Heading out for some skiing in Tahoe this weekend to celebrate Bangerang’s 30th bday and taking the pup with us. I can’t wait to see the doggie play in the snow…he’ll be so confused. Jes came home early yesterday and will be off for the next two weeks with me. Hooray! One more day…one more day…
Ants all around!
Day One of my long-awaited week off. I’m back in Irvine and have a lot of housework to take care of. I haven’t been home in 2 weeks and it’s been invaded by ants! Yuk! Koa is back to his old routine of chasing his toys around the house and sleeping all day on his favorite step. Just realized that he likes to lick ants…good, now I won’t have to use bug spray.

Today was the last day of Camp and we ended with a bang. The closing ceremony brought tears to my eyes and smiles all around! Jason (a long-time camper) stole the show when he took the microphone from Cycy to lead the campers in the last 2 songs. Ah…you just had to be there. Moving out was another frenzy but we got it done in record-time. Went out for happy hour to reward all who helped us out.

It’s been a crazy and exciting week at camp! First, I have to chase down a streaking camper across the field, next we have poo in the kiddie pool, and today Kurt Rambis comes to visit. Never a dull day at Camp Escapades…
