After a few hours of sorting and post-processing from RAW to .jpg, here are the photos from the Chiempornsakul Wedding Reception. I hope I’ve captured enough to pretty much give you a good idea of what went down that night.

It’s been almost a whole week since we left the island and all I have are my photos to keep me going. I miss the sunshine, beautiful water, tasty eats, and time to do absolutely nothing. Here are the photos that I’ll be staring at for the next few months until my next vacation.
And by the way, I still don’t have a phone.

Have you seen this commercial?! I swear this is what I would be like if I was 29 years younger (but maybe not as cute). In fact, without realizing it, I just did this the other day to Jes with a “Look what I did! Isn’t this one so much better?!” So photog-nerdy of me…
While I went running this morning, Jes was supposed to take Koa out for his am walk. But instead, he decided to take Koa to Fort Funston. It’s supposed to start raining for days tonight so it was nice to let him run free beforehand. I love to see him run and he always looks so happy.
It also interesting to see how he does his exploring while he tries to keep track of our whereabouts. At one fork in the path, we took one side and waited to see if he would take the right path. He took the other one and started looking around for us. He doesn’t have very good sight so he relied on his hearing to find us on the other side. Jes whistled and he came around the bend. Then I called him and he came running. We saw him do this in the snow last weekend too. Maybe it’s time for me to get a whistle for these occasions.

This morning the alarm went off at 6 am and we were out the door by 6:45. We ran the Kaiser Permanente 5K this morning and it was a lot of fun. The course went by the new Academy of Sciences and wound around Golden Gate Park with rolling hills and pockets of sun and shade.
It was a fast race and I managed to finish 3.1 under 30 mins. My Garmin was a little ahead of the race and I clocked 3.3 miles in 30:16 so I don’t actually know my official race time.
In any case, I had a great time, we got nice long-sleeved t-shirts, and getting home was a breeze on Muni.
