Family of Four
Ranee asked me to take some photos of her and the family last weekend and wanted to re-enact their engagement photo again – this time with Avia too. Unfortunately, it was a really pretty, sunny day in SF. Why unfortunate? Well, it makes the lighting really harsh. Luckily I shoot in RAW format and was able to tweak them a bit.
This is the photo that I got of the four of them walking along The Embarcadero. I also couldn’t help stitching the three photos together. I love the progression from newlyweds to family of 3 and finally to a family of 4.
This is my favorite photo. Avia got hangry in the middle of the photoshoot and I couldn’t help capturing the moment.
We also took another photo in this pose with Avia added again and this is how it came out.
This is one cute family. Ranee always says I’m their family photographer and it’s always a pleasure to shoot for them.
Chaotic Photoshoot
We went to Teresa’s house this morning to take some portraits of Baby Hudson. It was a lot more chaotic than I anticipated but I managed to snap a few decent photos.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the craziness that occurred with my two kids in tow.
Luckily KK was on her best behavior but it still added to the difficulty level of this photoshoot.
Junior Photog
KK is getting pretty good at using my phone to take photos of people, things, and herself. She also knows how to flip the camera to the front-facing camera.
I’m gonna have to put together an album of all her photos one day. It’s interesting to see what catches her photographic eye. Here are just a few…including photos of me in my super-preggo state.
It’ll be great if she can become my assistant one day…she’ll just have to learn to follow directions.
One Month
Thomas and Toni turned a month old this week. While we were at their house yesterday, I snapped a couple photos of them during their brief moments of being awake and content. It’s fun to see their little personalities come out each time we see them. Jia and Jason are also adjusting to their new life quite well.
Avia’s Family
Back in 2013, when Sophie turned 18 months, I did a photoshoot for Ranee and family. Now that they have a second one, they wanted to get another photoshoot done for her 1st birthday. We went back to Chrissy Field but had to move up to the beach because there were cranes in the background of the grassy area where we were last time. Luckily the sand dunes worked out just fine and I managed to get a few good shots of their party of 4. Here’s a shot from 2013…
And here’s the new one with Avia included…
